I think these are very spring like with pastel colors… also a unique design for a favor.
You can fill them with different candies as well.

i just saw bouquets that have fiberoptics in them.. check into having fiberoptic strands in your flowers and ceterpeices and decor. it will add a very elegant sparkle.

i’m picturing the reception being full of flowers and things draped in tulle with christmas lights in it.
maybe some of the crystalized branches that you can diy on the save-on-crafts.com site.
you can hang crystals or colored gems from the branches. or get some of the crystal/ice looking christmas garland to drape from the branches.
have lots of candles on the tables. maybe sprinkle glitter/confetti on the tables.
tables can be done in several different colored tablecloths/linens to bring more color to the event.
if you want toadstools you can fashion them from paper mache.
have them in several sizes. you can paint them with bright colors and add glitter and sparkle to them.
favors… i would either do something like multi colored organza bags with chocolates or candies in them.
or maybe see if you can find small garden gnomes or tiny faries to give as favors.
i say do lots of flowers large blooms and vibrant colors.
i saw some orchids in nyc right before christmas that i would just love to be able to use for my wedding but wouldn’t know how to get them from point a to be for my wedding.
they were this trippy deep blue with tinges of purple. sooo pretty.

I got married on december 13th and we were a bit over the top, my dress was quite princessy and loads of sparkle, my flowers were covered in glitter, the table centres were fishbowls full of crystals on a mirror and favours were red satin bags (to match bridesmaids) with chocolates in, I answered ur question because if ur going to have toadstools the idea of a red and silver theme (like my weddding) would be pretty, we didnt theme our wedding apart from red and silver but i think we looked like a prince and princess anyway x

Make a trip to the craft store, they have plenty of flowers and butterflies and glitter, make your own stuff, it’s easy to put on a little glue and glitter to things.
A white trellis arbor at the alter, covered with rose vines, tulle, glittered bugs and butterflies would be cute, don’t spare the glitter. think the wedding rental store for the arbor, or maybe someone knows how to buy one at the garden store, and stablize it so it will stand. Be sure to drape something so it is hanging down.
Think topiaries in planters, again with the glitter and bugs or birds, need styro balls, artificial flowers or greenery of your choice, paint, a little plaster of paris, a stick or a dowel, and something to make a hole in the balls to slide them over the stick and some glue to keep them there. I’ve made them, not too hard to do, or time consuming.
Try to find some little baskets for the end of the pews, and stick in the flower greenery to match the arbor, you can spray the baskets whatever color, or glitter them.
They do make spray glitter paint, and a paint that white washes, I tried that one on a wreath once, it was gorgeous.
A made a wreath with 5 white doves, all carrying a strand of pearls in their beaks[i put a drop of hot glue on the underside of the beak to hold it on],and the evenly spaced doves[they all had wings outstretched, and I pointed them all inward}. I just sprayed a grapevine wreath white, and wired or glued everything on.
You could use white doves in your arangements, even put a bit of glitter on their beaks, or the tips of their wings. I painted their eyes and feet gold, they were red, it did not look right with the red.
Hope this helps.
My craft/rental/party store has big bins of plastic favors, they might have a little gnome or fairy to tuck into a tulle bag as a wedding favor. Try a little package of fairy dust[glitter] to tuck in too, but be prepared to clean it up when people try to use it at the reception. Might want to try the m&ms with a custom saying on them for a favor, in the fairy colors you have chosen.
Howe about a fairy castle cake?

Congratulations! It looks like you’ve been getting some good advice here. Words that come to my mind are dragonflies, butterflies, lots of flowers – pansies, daisies or waterlilies. I also think of soft lights…”Christmas” lights or luminaries if it’s held at dusk. Centerpieces can be floating candles or floating flowers…the water can be colored if you wish. There’s so many different ideas for you to pick and choose from – I’m sure it will be lovely.
I hope you have a wonderful wedding day and that your life together will be blessed.

Do a Shrek theme. You both can dress up as ogres.
I just don’t understand this…I thought the “theme” of a wedding day is “2 people in love getting married”! Seems like a waste of time and money to me…..It’s a wedding, not a costume party!

Use lots of sparkle, glitter, beads, white (or even your colors) Christmas lights. Don’t forget to go to your local garden center, You may find gnomes, toadstools, fairies etc etc. Sounds like fun!
